Network & dealers
The Dealer Portal, dealer pricing and orders, and the franchise network.
- The Dealer Portal: your B2B trade portal — A branded portal where the businesses you sell to order from your catalogue at their price, with your live stock, and track, pay and return online. Here is where each part of it lives.
- Setting up the Dealer Portal: theme, pricing, checkout and every Setup screen — Every Dealer Portal setting is on one of the Setup screens. This is the map: what each screen sets, who can change it, and which guide explains it.
- Dealer Portal theme, web address and your own domain — Brand the portal (logos, colours, fonts), give it a web address, publish it, run it on your own domain, and put it inside your own website.
- Dealer pricing: tiers, product tier prices, group discounts and one-off prices — How a dealer’s price is worked out: their own price, the product’s Dealer / Trade / Franchise price, the tier’s group discount, the tier’s discount, then retail, with your minimum margin underneath.
- What dealers can see: guardrails, minimum margin and hidden items — Keep unpriced products and loss-making prices away from dealers, and hide products, categories, brands or suppliers from the portal while they stay on sale everywhere else.
- The dealer storefront: dashboard, collections, brands, promotions and announcements — Lay out what dealers see: dashboard sections, the welcome line and announcement strip (with a button), collection and brand cards, promotions, the Products page filters and product cards.
- Dealer checkout rules: invoicing, order limits, delivery, payment and drop ship — Decide what a dealer order turns into, the smallest and largest order, how dealers get their goods, how they pay, and whether they can drop ship to their own customers.
- Dealer Portal features: optional sections, delivery date emails, stock display and lead times — Switch the portal’s optional sections on or off for every dealer, choose who is emailed when a due date moves, how much stock detail dealers see, and "Order now" lead times for out-of-stock categories.
- Resources, price notices and announcements for dealers — Give dealers a library of install videos, PDFs, links and articles, warn them about price changes, put a message and button on their dashboard, and see what they use.
- The AI Quote Assistant for dealers — An AI Quote tab in the dealer portal: a dealer describes a job and gets a trade quote built only from your catalogue. Each quote is billed to your business as AI usage.
- The dealer Support tab: support and warranty requests into your helpdesk — Build the form behind the dealer portal’s Support tab. Every request becomes a ticket in Support → Tickets, on the dealer’s company.
- Dealer orders, quote requests and returns — Dealer orders arrive as sales orders on the Orders desk under the Dealer channel. Quote requests wait for your prices. Returns and warranty claims are worked through to a credit note.
- Adding dealers and inviting their logins — Make a CRM company a dealer, set its tier, status, terms and credit, and invite its people as Owner, Buyer or Viewer.
- Head offices and stores, dealer types and changing many dealers at once — Put stores under a head office and choose who is invoiced, label dealers with a type, and change the tier, status, invoicing or switches for many dealers in one go.
- "Become a dealer" applications — Build your own dealer application form, put a "Become a dealer" button on your portal sign-in, and approve or decline applications.
- What your dealers see in the portal — The dealer’s side of the portal, menu by menu: what each login can do, how owners manage their team and delivery address, and how one login works across several suppliers.
- Connect my BuildTrack Pro: linked POs with a dealer's own business — A dealer that also runs BuildTrack Pro links it to your portal: your catalogue and stock appear in their system, and orders become their purchase orders, kept in step both ways.
- Network and franchise: how head office and its stores work together — The franchise network add-on links head office with its franchises: franchises order stock from head office, head office dispatches and invoices, and the Network module reports across every location.
- Franchise network settings — Settings → Network is head office’s one home for the franchise network: what is shared, the franchises and their team, terms and prices, network pricing rules, freight and who hears about orders.
- Franchise orders at head office: accept, dispatch, close short and returns — A franchise’s order lands on the Orders desk under the Franchise channel. Accept it (which issues the invoice), dispatch all or part, tell them when the rest goes, close it short, and credit returns.
- Ordering from head office — For franchise staff: order stock from head office at your price, send it, pay it, follow each dispatch, receive it, return anything that isn’t right, and see your statement with head office.
- Royalties and marketing levy — Head office sets royalty and marketing levy rates, checks each franchise’s sales for a month, and raises one draft invoice per franchise to review and send.
