The Dealer Portal: your B2B trade portal
A branded portal where the businesses you sell to order from your catalogue at their price, with your live stock, and track, pay and return online. Here is where each part of it lives.
Where it is
- Dealer Portal — Overview: what is waiting on you and how dealers are trading
- Orders → Dealer channel — Where dealer orders and quote requests are worked
- Dealer Portal → Setup — Everything you set once
Settings for this
- Dealer Portal → Setup → Theme — Brand, colours, fonts and the portal’s web address
- Dealer Portal → Setup → Pricing tiers — What each dealer pays
- Dealer Portal → Setup → Orders & invoicing — Invoicing, order limits, delivery, payment and drop ship at checkout
- Dealer Portal → Setup → Features — Optional sections dealers see, and how stock shows
- Settings → Billing & plan — The Dealer Portal comes with the Professional and Business plans
The Dealer Portal gives each business you sell to (a reseller, a fitter, a store) its own login to your catalogue, at their price, with the stock you actually have. It lives under Sell → Dealer Portal in the sidebar.
Is it switched on? It comes with the Professional and Business plans and the free trial. Without it there's no Dealer Portal link in the sidebar, and an old link shows a page with Change plan, which opens Settings → Billing & plan.
What dealers can do in the portal
- Browse by collection, brand or vehicle, search, and see their price beside your retail price, with what's available or when more is due.
- Check out with delivery (priced live by your carriers), pick up or drop ship to their own customer, and pay on account, by card or by bank transfer. Or Save as quote for you to price first.
- Track orders and shipments, download invoices and statements, pay online, lodge returns and support requests, read your resources and price notices, and build quotes with the AI Quote tab if you turn it on.
See What your dealers see for the dealer's side screen by screen.
The tabs on the Dealer Portal page
| Tab | What's on it | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Overview | Waiting on you (Need an invoice, Invoices to approve, To dispatch, Quote requests, Open returns) and Dealer trade for 30 days, 90 days or 12 months | Anyone who can see sales orders |
| Returns | Return and warranty requests | Anyone who can see invoices |
| Applications | "Become a dealer" sign-ups. A number shows how many are new | Anyone who can see settings |
| Dealers | Your dealer companies. Click one to open its panel | Anyone who can see settings |
| Groups | Head offices and the stores under them | Anyone who can see settings |
| Users | Every dealer login, across all your dealers | Anyone who can see settings |
| Setup | Everything you set once: see Setting up the Dealer Portal | Anyone who can see settings |
A tab your role can't open doesn't show. Changing Setup screens and inviting dealer logins is for owners, admins and managers.
Dealer orders aren't on this page. They land on the Orders desk, Dealer channel with every other order. See Dealer orders, quote requests and returns.
Preview portal (top right) opens the portal in a new tab as one of your dealers: their prices, their stock, your unpublished theme, read-only. It needs at least one dealer, lasts 8 hours, and only owners, admins and managers can use it.
Where to start
New to it? Work through the Setting up your dealer portal course in the Academy (lesson 1), or follow the setup map in Setting up the Dealer Portal.
If something's not right
- No Dealer Portal in the sidebar: your plan doesn't include it, or your role can't see sales orders, invoices or settings.
- Old Settings → Dealer portal links open the matching tab here.
- "Orders" tab missing: dealer orders moved to the Orders desk.
