What dealers can see: guardrails, minimum margin and hidden items
Keep unpriced products and loss-making prices away from dealers, and hide products, categories, brands or suppliers from the portal while they stay on sale everywhere else.

- Setup → Features → Stock display — Exact quantities or status only
These rules apply everywhere a dealer sees products: product pages, search, cards, quick order, checkout, and their CSV, API and feeds. Only owners, admins and managers can change them.
Guardrails
Open Setup → Guardrails.
What dealers can see
- Hide products with no sell price: on to start with. A product without a price would show as $0.00 and can't be ordered.
- Hide products with no image: off to start with. Leave it off to keep everything orderable, and use the No image list to add photos.
Minimum dealer margin
- Tick Never sell to dealers under a minimum margin.
- Type the Minimum margin %, or press Use my quote GP floor.
- Before you save, the line beside it shows how many products would be held at the floor and how many are under it (need repricing).
- Press Save guardrails. Dealers see it straight away.
The floor is cost ÷ (1 − margin), from average cost, else last cost, else unit cost. It applies to tier and group discounts and plain retail, never above retail. Prices you set by hand for a dealer, and a product's own Dealer / Trade / Franchise price, are left alone. A product with no cost can't be checked.
Needs attention (search and Export CSV): No price, Under the floor, Held at the floor, No cost and No image. Margin columns only show to people who can see costs.
Hidden items
Turn things off for dealers without deactivating them. They stay on sale in the POS, quotes and Shopify.
- Open Setup → Hidden items.
- Pick Product, Category, Brand or Supplier, search, and press Hide.
- Hidden now lists what's hidden and how many products each takes out. Show again undoes it.
Hiding a top-level category hides its sub-categories. A supplier hides every product it's the main supplier of. A dealer with a hidden product in their cart sees it as no longer available and must remove it before checking out.
Other ways to keep things from dealers
- Hiding a collection card on Storefront hides the card only; the products still show in search.
- Features → Stock display: Status only keeps your quantities private.
- Make the product inactive to take it off sale everywhere.
If something's not right
- "Turn on a minimum dealer margin above to see these": the floor lists only fill once a margin is set.
- A product still shows after hiding its category: it may sit in another category. Hide the product itself.
