BuildTrack Pro

The AI Quote Assistant for dealers

An AI Quote tab in the dealer portal: a dealer describes a job and gets a trade quote built only from your catalogue. Each quote is billed to your business as AI usage.

Where it is

Settings for this

What dealers get. An AI Quote tab. The dealer picks the Vehicle, the State it's registered in, and describes The job (lift height, wheel and tyre size, towing, budget…). The quote is built only from your catalogue: each line with RRP and Your buy price, a Recommended fitting time instead of labour, the Engineering & certification the job may need, and Assumptions. Items you don't stock show as "Contact your business for sourcing"; the dealer can send those to you as a sourcing request, which lands in Support → Tickets. They tick the lines they want and add them to the cart.

Turn it on

  1. Open Setup → Features, card AI Quote Assistant.
  2. Read Usage costs: about how much each quote costs (your own 90-day average once dealers use it) and this month's quotes and spend.
  3. Tick I understand each AI quote is billed to my business as AI usage.
  4. Tick Show the AI Quote tab to dealers.
  5. Set Up to N quotes per dealer account per day (20 to start with; 0 = no limit).
  6. Press Save.

Recent AI quotes lists each one with the dealer, vehicle, request and result ("sourcing asked" when they asked you to source something). Previews you run are marked (preview).

Who pays

Every quote is charged to your BuildTrack account as AI usage, on your monthly invoice. Dealers aren't charged. It counts toward your limit in Settings → AI usage.

If something's not right

  • The switch is greyed out: tick the cost box first ("Tick the cost box above to switch it on").
  • Dealers see the tab but quotes don't run: the card says why: AI isn't on your plan, AI is switched off for your business, or this month's AI limit is reached.
  • A dealer is told they've hit the limit: raise the daily number, or wait a day.
