"Become a dealer" applications

Build your own dealer application form, put a "Become a dealer" button on your portal sign-in, and approve or decline applications.

Where it is

Setup → Sign-up form — Taking applications, button label, questions, thank-you and staff emails
Setup → Theme — The form only appears once the theme is published with a slug

Anyone who can change settings can build the form and approve or decline applications.

Setup → Sign-up form: tick Taking applications and set the Button label.
Page text: Heading, Introduction, After they send it.
Questions: start from the ready-made wholesale application, reword, add (short or long answer, dropdown, pick one, tick all that apply, yes / no, headings) and reorder. Each has what it Fills in on the company, and optionally Only ask when an earlier answer matches. The business name and email questions can't be removed. Reset to starter form starts again.
Emails: Email the applicant a thank-you (your Subject and Message; {first_name}, {business_name} and {brand} are filled in) and Email these people about new applications (staff plus Other addresses (optional)).
Save. Once the theme is published with a slug, the button shows on your sign-in page and a Link to share or put on your website appears, with Copy and Open.

Applications shows how many are new. Open one to read Contact and Answers, and keep Your notes.

Approve…: choose the Pricing tier, create the company or pick an existing one, leave Email … a dealer login invite now ticked, and press Approve dealer. The company becomes an Active dealer, the applicant its primary contact and an Owner login.
Decline with a reason for your records. The applicant isn't emailed. Move back to New undoes it.

No "Become a dealer" button: Taking applications is off, or the theme isn't published with a slug.
The invite didn't send on approval: the result says so. Invite again from the dealer's Users tab.
