Franchise network settings
Settings → Network is head office’s one home for the franchise network: what is shared, the franchises and their team, terms and prices, network pricing rules, freight and who hears about orders.

- Settings → Roles — Who can view purchasing gets order bells
Head office only: it shows under Settings → Franchise network → Network when the business has the network add-on and you're at head office. Franchise staff see "Network settings are managed by your network HQ". Press Save Network Settings after changes on General, Pricing, Freight and Notifications.
General
- Network Identity: Network name.
- CRM Sharing: Share contacts across network, Share companies across network, Share vehicles across network, and Show full customer history to franchises (read-only history from every location).
- Inventory Sharing: tick the warehouses every franchise can see stock in. They can't order or transfer from them.
- Product Catalogue: Use shared pricebook, and Allow franchises to add local products.
- Accepting Inbound Orders: Accept orders automatically: an order is accepted as it's sent when the franchise has payment terms and isn't on hold, every line is your product, and you have free stock for all of it. Anything else waits for a person.
Franchises
Add Franchise walks through Business (name, address, phone, orders email), Owner (their email, for an invite), Terms (pays before dispatch, or on account with days to pay and an optional credit limit) and Prices (the network's prices, the same as another franchise, or a discount off RRP on everything).
Click a franchise to open its panel:
- Details: name, address, phone, email, Save Changes; Danger Zone deactivates it (data is kept).
- Team: invite people as Owner, Admin, Staff or Read Only (Send Invite).
- Pricing: its price for each product (a Franchise $ on the product wins, else RRP less the discount, else the network default). Save Pricing.
- Terms: Pay before dispatch or Net terms (N days), Credit limit (inc GST) (blocks new orders once open network invoices reach it) and Account on hold (blocks all new orders). Save Terms.
- Activity.
Pricing
- Network Default: Show uncosted products to franchises and the Uncosted product discount (% off retail).
- Pricing rules: a % off RRP for a brand, a category or both, for Every franchise or one. Add rule; Change or the bin to edit.
- A franchise's prices from a file: a CSV with a SKU column and a Price (ex GST) or Discount (% off RRP). It reports what was added, updated and not found.
- Copy pricing from one franchise to another.
A franchise pays, in order: a Franchise price set on the product, then its own price for that product, then the most specific rule (one franchise beats every franchise), then the network default.
Freight
Freight on Franchise Orders (ex GST): No rule (you add freight when you dispatch), Flat rate, Free over an amount, or What the carrier charges, plus a margin.
Notifications
- Who Gets Order Bells: people in each business who can view purchasing (owners and admins always). Change it in Settings → Roles.
- Email HQ when a franchise submits an order: a PDF copy to the Recipients you list.
If something's not right
- No Network in Settings: you're not at head office, or the add-on isn't on.
- "Notifications are on but no recipients are listed": add an email, or nothing is sent.
