Marketing & website
Campaigns, automations, reviews, forms, your domain and the website builder.
- Marketing: what is where (and what needs the add-on) — The Marketing section holds forms, your website, reviews, campaigns, automations, audiences, content and reports. Forms, Website and Reviews are on every plan; the rest is the Marketing add-on.
- Send an email or SMS campaign — Pick a list or segment, write the email or text, choose when it goes, check the preflight and send or schedule. You can test, unschedule or stop it.
- Automations (flows): build one, switch it on, and when it stops — A flow sends emails and texts on its own when something happens. Start from a template, set the trigger and how often a customer can go through, test it, then Activate. Quote and booking flows stop by themselves when they no longer apply.
- Service and rego reminders — Switch on the starter Service reminder and Rego reminder, or build your own with the Service due and Rego expiring triggers. Dates come from each vehicle's history and its rego expiry.
- Ask customers for Google reviews — Save your Google review link, then switch on the automatic request after payment, or press Ask for review on an inbox conversation. Clicks are tracked.
- Lists and segments: who gets your marketing — A list holds the contacts you add. A segment is a set of rules (vehicle, last service, spend, consent, tags…) that keeps itself up to date. Both can receive campaigns.
- Consent, unsubscribes and suppressions — Marketing only goes to contacts with consent for that channel who aren't suppressed. Unsubscribes, STOP replies, bounces and complaints suppress them automatically; you can add or remove one by hand.
- Lead scoring and lifecycle stages — Give contacts points for what they do (opened, clicked, submitted a form…) and set the lifecycle stages your contacts move through. Both show in the CRM and can drive segments.
- Brand kit: from name, reply-to and the legal footer — The brand kit holds what marketing email needs: from name, reply-to, physical address and legal footer. The logo and colour come from Settings → Branding.
- Email templates, saved blocks and images — Build reusable email and SMS templates from blocks, save blocks to reuse, and keep images in one library. Campaigns and flow emails take their layout from a template.
- Social posts (drafts you copy out) — Keep your social accounts and post drafts in one place. BuildTrack doesn't post for you: copy the post into the platform, then press Mark posted.
- Landing pages — A simple public page for a campaign or offer, built from the same blocks as email templates, with its own address and view count.
- Marketing reports: opens, clicks, revenue and deliverability — Reports show sends, opens and clicks, leads by source, form entries, revenue attributed to each campaign and automation, and how well your email is landing.
- Stock watchlist, fleet check-ins and franchise campaigns — Tell customers when a part they're waiting on is back, re-contact fleet accounts on a schedule, and (HQ) push a campaign to your franchises.
- Your domain: one setup for email, customer links and portals — Type your business's domain once in Settings → Your domain. Your emails then come from it, and quote, invoice, payment and job-ready links plus your customer and dealer portals open on your own web address.
- Send email from your own domain — Connect your domain in Settings → Your domain, add the DNS records it lists where you manage DNS, and wait for Verified. Until then email still goes out, from BuildTrack's address with your business name.
- Build a form (enquiry, quote request, booking, warranty) — In Marketing → Forms, create a form, add fields that map into contacts, companies and vehicles, style it, and set spam protection, consent and what happens after submit.
- Route form submissions into your CRM (and start marketing) — The Routing tab is a list of actions run in order on every submission: match or create the contact, create a deal, ticket or task, notify, auto-reply. The Marketing tab starts automations and adds submitters to a list.
- Embed a form on your website, or capture the one you have — A form built in BuildTrack goes on your site with one line of code (or a link). A form already on your site can send a copy of every submission to BuildTrack, unchanged, with the Capture snippet.
- Build requests: capture a build enquiry and quote it — Reception captures a customer's build on a call using your build request form; it lands in Build Requests for sales to quote (with AI or by hand) or dismiss.
- Website Builder: create, edit and publish your website — Create a website from your BuildTrack data (template, AI or import your current site), edit pages and sections, save the draft, then Publish to put it live. Stock, prices and listings stay up to date on their own.
