The technician phone view
My Workshop on a phone: your jobs today, a clock on each line, the job's next step and quick holds. Works with no signal and syncs later.
Where it is
Settings for this
- Settings → Workshop → Technicians — Who counts as a technician and gets jobs assigned
On a phone, Workshop → Jobs shows a Technician View button that opens My Workshop. You can also open it directly.
- My Jobs shows only jobs you're on; tap it off to see all. Filter by All, Booked, In progress or Ready.
- Today lists your bookings in time order.
- Tap a job to open it:
- each labour line has Start, Pause, Finish ✓ and Switch here, like the Work tab;
- General time with Start Timer for time not on a line (the only clock on a job with no lines);
- Next step moves the job on (e.g. Start work →), and quick holds Waiting on parts, Awaiting approval and In QC;
- View Full Job → opens the full job page.
No signal? Starting or stopping a clock is queued ("offline — will sync") and saved when you're back online.
On the full job page on a phone, Fitted ✓ on a part marks it picked and installed, and the side panels move to a Details tab. To install BuildTrack on the home screen, see Install the app.
