Where it is
On the job, the Inspection tab. Install and build jobs (or any job with ride heights recorded) show two parts, Check-in and Ride heights; others open straight onto the check-in.
Step by step
- Vehicle Walk-Around: take or drop in photos of every side, the interior and under the bonnet. Photos upload as soon as you add them. Type a caption under each.
- Damage Documentation: close-ups of scratches, dents and chips already there.
- Vehicle Vitals: the Odometer Reading (km) and Fuel Level (Empty, ¼ Tank, ½ Tank, ¾ Tank or Full). The odometer also updates the vehicle's own reading (it never goes backwards), which feeds its warranty kilometres and service due date.
- Inspection Checklist: answer each line (a tick, Pass / Fail / N/A, a measurement or a short answer). Add a photo or note where a line asks. Ticked "Body damage noted"? It reminds you with Add damage photos ↑ until there's one.
- Signatures, if your checklist asks: Technician sign-off and Customer signature.
- Condition Notes: customer concerns, special instructions, items left in the car.
- Press Save Check-In. You can save with lines open and finish later with Update Check-In. A finished check-in shows a green Completed pill.
Keys: put the hook number in Key Tag under Details in the job's left panel.
Ride heights
