Structured vehicle checks with photos, captured on any device, shared with the customer, and turned into a priced quote from the findings.

Settings for this
- Inspections → Manage Templates — Your inspection templates, items and typical prices
Build inspection templates (safety check, pre-purchase, service check) under Workshop → Inspections → Manage Templates. Give an item a $ typical price and it fills in the quote when that item fails.
Step by step
- New Inspection on Inspections. Under Job, pick the job the vehicle is already in for, or leave A new job for this inspection for a stand-alone check. From a job, More → Digital inspection starts one on that job, and the job's Linked Records list it.
- Press Start, then mark each item Pass, Caution, Fail or N/A, with notes and photos. A Caution or Fail can go in a bucket: Safety Required, Pre-Trip Recommended or Nice to Have.
- Press Complete, then Email or Print it. A completed inspection also shows in the customer portal.
- Create Quote from N Findings opens Price the findings: each Caution or Fail is a line at its typical price that you can change, reword or untick. Create the quote makes a draft quote. Leave Remember these prices on the template ticked to reuse the prices.
Work the customer leaves for later lands on Quotes → Deferred Work to follow up.
