Transfers between warehouses
Move stock from one of your warehouses to another with a transfer document. Stock moves in one go when you complete it.
Where it is
- Warehouse → Transfers
- Scan Centre → Transfer — Quick bin-to-bin moves
Settings for this
- Settings → Roles — “Transfer between locations” lets a role transfer
Raise a transfer
- Open Warehouse → Transfers and click + New Transfer.
- Choose From Warehouse and To Warehouse, add the Products to Transfer and quantities, and any Notes.
- Save. It starts as Draft.
Move it through
On the transfer's page:
- Submit for Approval → Pending.
- Mark In Transit when it leaves → In transit (a label for where it is; stock hasn't moved yet).
- Complete & Transfer Stock moves every line in one go: stock comes off the source and onto the destination together. If any line hasn't enough stock at the source, the whole transfer is refused and nothing moves — so it can never half-happen.
- Cancel while it's Draft or Pending.
While it's Draft or Pending you can change the To Transfer quantity on each line. For batch-tracked products, choose the batch (blank = earliest expiry first).
Good to know
- Moving stock between bins in the same warehouse? Use Scan Centre → Transfer or Bin → Move whole bin — no document needed.
- Transfers are only between your own warehouses. Franchise stores ordering from head office use Order from HQ.
