Vehicle fitment on products
Tag products with the vehicles they fit so the product list, quotes, the dealer portal and Shopify can filter to parts that fit.
Where it is
- Inventory → Products — Fit by Vehicle filter; open a product → Fitment tab
- Products → Fitment & RRP Audit — AI proposes fitment for review
Settings for this
- Integrations → Shopify — Fitment syncs to Shopify for the storefront vehicle filter
Add fitments (make, model and years) to a product and every vehicle-aware surface can filter to parts that fit. That includes the Fit by Vehicle filter on the Products list, "Find parts for your vehicle" on quotes and the dealer portal, and the Shopify storefront filter.
Add fitment to one product
- Open the product from Inventory → Products and click the Fitment tab.
- Select make…, then a Model. Leave the model on All models to cover every model of that make.
- Enter From and To years. Leave one blank for an open range ("2019+").
- Click +. Each change saves at once and syncs to Shopify. The bin icon removes a row.
You can also add fitment while creating the product, in the Vehicle fitment section.
Add fitment to many
- CSV: export with the Vehicle fitment preset, fill the Vehicle Fitment column ("Toyota Hilux 2015-2024 | Ford Ranger 2011-2022") and import it back. See Import and export products by CSV.
- AI audit: Fitment & RRP Audit proposes fitment from your catalogue for you to approve.
Wheels and tyres
Wheels and tyres use specs rather than fitment: PCD, rim size, offset and tyre size, on the product's Specs tab. The list filters by them under More filters → Wheel / tyre specs.
If something's not right
- No Fitment tab: labour, service, freight and external service lines don't take fitment.
- "Vehicle fitment is managed by the product's owner": it's a head office product. Head office edits it.
- "Year to cannot be before Year from": swap the years.
