Pick lists: print or scan to pick

Every sales order, invoice and workshop job has a printable pick list, sorted by bin, with Scan to pick for a scanner in hand.

Where it is

Settings for this

Open a pick list from a sales order, an invoice or a workshop job (Pick List in its actions), from Print / scan ↗ on an order on the Dispatch board, or scan the document number in Scan Centre → Lookup and press Pick this order / Pick parts for this job.

  • Which warehouse: with more than one, the list opens on the customer company's Default Warehouse (set on the company under Actions → All settings), else your default warehouse. Switch it with Warehouse at the top.
  • Lines come in walk order with the Bin to take each from. If one bin doesn't hold enough, the line is split: "+ 5 from R4-01". Bins follow your pick rule; staging and quarantine bins are never suggested, and offsite supplier stock is never on a pick list.
  • Multi-box products show each carton with a tick square.
  • Print / PDF prints it for a picker without a tablet. Write picked quantities and shorts in the Picked and Note / short columns.
  • Scan to pick — scan each part as you pick it; the count ticks up and wrong parts are flagged. Save picks records them.
  • Batches and serials — for tracked products, record which batch or serials you took. Leave it blank and dispatch takes the earliest expiry / oldest in stock.

Picks recorded here are the same picks the Dispatch board shows, and dispatch takes stock out of the bins you actually picked.
