Dealer Management settings

Dealer Management → Settings holds what is printed on contracts and agreements (licence, state, notices, terms) and the Taxes & fees tables.

Where it is

Settings for this

Open Dealer Management → Settings (the bottom of the Dealer Management menu). It has two tabs.

Dealer & contract

  • Dealer identity: Dealer licence No. (printed on the contract header), ACN and Statutory state (drives the default notice and the duty calculator).
  • Your trading name, ABN and address come from Settings → Business details, not here.
  • Stamp duty scales: which financial year the scales were last confirmed for, Reload built-in scales, and I've checked — these are current when they need confirming.
  • Contract wording:
  • Statutory notice (printed on the contract). Blank uses the built-in Queensland template; other states get a placeholder telling you to set it. Use wording your lawyer or industry body has approved.
  • Terms & conditions.
  • Default special conditions: offered as the placeholder on every new deal.
  • Consignment agreement terms: printed on the agreement. Blank uses the built-in clauses.

Press Save changes at the top. The page warns you if you leave with unsaved changes.

Taxes & fees

Tax categories, LCT thresholds, registration and government fees, and stamp duty bands. See LCT, stamp duty and on-road costs. Changing them needs the Settings edit permission.
