Price lists and promotions

A price list is a set of product prices with start and end dates. While it's live it overrides tier pricing for its products, and when it ends the normal prices come back on their own.

Create one

1. Open Products → Price Lists→ and click + New price list.
2. Enter a Name (e.g. "Winter tyre promo").
3. Applies to: All customers, or one company for a contract price.
4. Set Starts and Ends. Leave them blank for "any time" and "ongoing".
5. Priority (optional, default 0): when two running lists at the same level price the same product, the higher number wins.
6. Click Create.

Add the prices

1. Click the list's name or Edit prices.
2. Search for a product.
3. Enter a Fixed price (ex GST), or % off the retail price.
4. Click Add. The table shows the retail price beside the list price.

Status

Each list shows Live, Scheduled (starts later), Expired or Inactive.

• Deactivate pauses a list without deleting it, and Activate turns it back on.
• Delete removes it.

Which list wins

• A list for a company beats a list for all customers.
• Between two lists at the same level, the higher Priority wins. A list with a priority other than 0 shows it next to its dates.
• On equal priority, the newest list wins.
• Within a list, a fixed price beats a % off.
