Import OEM parts and ACES fitment

Load an OEM or distributor master-parts file (CSV, TSV or PIES XML) into your products, and import vehicle fitment from ACES XML.

Where it is

Master-parts import

For a dealer-net price tape (CSV or TSV) or a PIES XML file.

  1. Open Dealer Management → Parts Import.
  2. 1 · Choose file.
  3. 2 · Confirm column mapping (CSV and TSV only): part number, name, brand, RRP, net, supersession.
  4. Preview (first 8 rows): check it reads right.
  5. Options: Update RRP (sell price), Update dealer-net (cost), Create missing parts, Apply supersessions and Prices include GST.
  6. Import. The Result counts created, updated, RRP set, net set, supersessions and skipped (Show skipped rows lists why).

A superseded part points at its successor, and its old stock still counts. This sits beside your normal supplier price files (Suppliers and price files).

ACES fitment import

  1. Open Dealer Management → Fitment (ACES).
  2. 1 · VCdb reference data: load the Makes file (and Models) once. ACES refers to vehicles by number, and these files turn the numbers into names.
  3. 2 · ACES XML file: choose the file. It shows the applications, unique parts and base-vehicle rows skipped.
  4. Apply. The Result counts parts updated, fitments applied, parts not in your catalogue and any make or model numbers it couldn't map.

ACES fitment replaces what the part had. See Vehicle fitment on products.

If something's not right

  • "Load the VCdb makes reference first": step 1 comes before the ACES file.
  • Parts not in catalogue: import them with the master-parts import (tick Create missing parts) and run the fitment again.
