Day close, performance and TV mode

Scan each box onto the truck and close the handover, see whether the floor is getting better, and put the warehouse on a TV.

Day close

A parcel packed, labelled and left on the bench is invisible until the customer rings. Day close accounts for every box.

  1. On Dispatch open … → Day close.
  2. The cards show Waiting to load, Sitting over a day (red — the real problem) and Loaded this session.
  3. As the carrier loads, scan each carrier label (or type the invoice number), or press Load on a row. Each loaded box goes onto an open handover for its carrier.
  4. When the truck leaves, press Close handover under Open handovers. Anything still listed hasn't gone.

Performance

… → Performance (Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, by warehouse):

  • On time to cut-off — the service number customers feel.
  • Mis-picks per 1,000 and Short rate — picking accuracy, and how far the stock file is off.
  • Waiting over 24h, Lines picked, Lines packed, Orders dispatched, Pick to dispatch time.
  • By picker — lines, units, shorts, active time and lines per hour. Needs View operations reports.

For order volumes by channel and how long each takes to leave, see Reporting → Orders & fulfilment.

TV mode

TV mode on the board opens a full-screen Warehouse floor for a wall screen. It refreshes every 15 seconds, keeps the screen awake and shows no prices:

  • today's ring, the cutoff, late now and the streak;
  • Going out (late first), Picking now, Waiting at the counter;
  • Coming in (deliveries due), Pull for the workshop and Holding orders up;
  • the hour-by-hour flow and a live feed. When everything due has gone it says All out ✓.

Pick a warehouse on the board before opening TV mode to show just that building.
