Canned jobs: your standard services
Reusable labour and parts bundles. Insert one into a quote, add one straight onto a job, and publish them on your online booking page.
Where it is
Settings for this
- Workshop → Canned Jobs — Bookable online and the "from" price per canned job
Make one
- Open Workshop → Canned Jobs.
- Type a Name and Category (e.g. "Servicing") and press Create.
- Open it and add lines with + Part and + Labour: Description, SKU, Qty and Price (ex GST). Leave a price blank to use the product's current price (or your labour rate) at the time it's used.
- Deactivate hides one without deleting it; Delete removes it.
Use one
- On a quote: 🔧 Canned Job on the quote opens Insert Canned Job. See Create and send a quote.
- On a job already in the workshop: + Add canned job in the job's left panel. Choose Add to the job now (the customer has already agreed: the work and parts go straight on) or Quote it for approval (makes a quote to send). A canned job with unpriced lines must be quoted first.
- Online: tick Bookable online and, optionally, a "from $" price. It then shows on your public booking page. See Booking requests.
