Business details and branding
Your business name, ABN, contact details, address, timezone, tax rate and vehicle catalogue, plus the logo and brand colour your customers see.

These two pages hold who you are. What you put here prints on every quote, invoice, proposal and customer page, so fill them in before you send anything.
Business details
Open Settings → Business details (avatar menu → Settings lands here).
- Company Identity: Legal / Trading Name, Trading Name (if different) and ABN / Business Number. The Workspace Slug is fixed; it is part of your public links.
- Contact: the Phone and Email customers see. The email is also where some daily emails go when nobody else is named, such as supplier payment reminders.
- Address: street, suite, suburb, state and postcode. Country is read-only: it sets your currency and tax and is fixed when the business is created. Ask BuildTrack support to change it.
- Regional Settings: Timezone (due dates, daily emails and schedules) and Default Tax Rate (%) (10% GST in Australia).
- Vehicle Catalogue: Vehicle Categories decides which makes and models show in vehicle pickers (customer vehicles, product fitment, packages, the kiosk): All vehicles, American trucks or Domestic. Makes and models you add yourself always show.
- Press Save changes (it stays pinned at the bottom of the page).
Branding
Open Settings → Branding.
- Upload logo: PNG, JPG or WebP, under 2 MB. It goes on invoices, quote and invoice emails, proposals and the customer portal.
- Brand colour: pick a colour or type a 6-digit hex code like #E8580C. It colours proposals, quote and invoice emails and their PDFs. Reset to default puts BuildTrack's orange back.
- Press Save changes.
The dealer portal has its own theme (fonts, colours, backgrounds) under Dealer Portal → Setup, and the customer portal's look is under Settings → Customer portal.
Who can change it
Anyone who can open Settings can see these pages. Saving needs Manage company settings (owners and admins have it). Without it you see "You have read-only access to company settings".

If something's not right
- The logo won't upload: it must be under 2 MB and a PNG, JPG or WebP.
- The colour didn't change: an invalid hex code falls back to the default. Use # and six characters.
- Wrong country or currency: it can't be changed here. Ask BuildTrack support.
