Billing & plan: your subscription and add-ons
Choose a plan, subscribe, add or remove add-ons and update your card. Add-ons that aren't paid for switch off when billing starts; nothing is deleted.

Settings → Billing & plan is your BuildTrack subscription: one plan plus any add-ons, on one bill.
Subscribe or change plan
- The Plan card shows your plan, its status (Active, Trial, Past due, Paused…) and when it renews or ends.
- Pick a plan from the list.
- Not subscribed yet: choose Monthly or Annually and press Subscribe. You add your card on Stripe's secure page. The first charge is on the date billing starts.
- Already subscribed: press Change plan. The difference is pro-rated.
- Card & invoices opens Stripe's page to change your card, download BuildTrack's invoices or cancel.
Add-ons
The Add-ons list shows each one's state: Included in your plan, Active, Complimentary, Ends (date), Switched off: not paid or Not on your plan.
- Add switches it on straight away. While subscribed it joins your subscription, pro-rated for the first month.
- Remove keeps it on until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Change plan to add means your plan doesn't offer it; Talk to us means it's arranged with BuildTrack.
Add-ons include the Dealer portal, Marketing Hub, Support (tickets and knowledge base), AI Front Desk & Messaging, the Showroom POS, the Dealer Management System, Manufacturing and the Franchise network. When an add-on is off, its menu items are hidden.
Billing history lists payments and changes.
Things that aren't add-ons
- Workshop is a free module you switch on or off under Modules & flow.
- AI is pay-as-you-go with a monthly cap under AI usage.
- Your own SMS number is added to your bill from Integrations → Inbox, SMS & phone.
- Card payments from your customers go through your own Stripe account, set up under Integrations → Stripe. That's separate from paying BuildTrack.
Who can change it
Only an owner or admin can change the plan or add-ons. Others see the page read-only.
If something's not right
- "Billing starts on (date)": subscribe before then. Add-ons that aren't paid for switch off that day. Nothing is deleted.
- Past due: your card payment failed. Press Card & invoices to update the card.
- A menu item disappeared: its add-on may have switched off. Check its state here.
