AI usage: switch AI on or off and cap the spend
AI features (receptionist, quote assistant, follow-ups, insights, the Home briefing) are pay-as-you-go. Switch them all off, or set a monthly limit in AUD.

Open Settings → AI usage.
- Use AI features: the master switch. Off stops every AI feature (no AI replies on chat or SMS, no follow-up drafts, no AI quoting, no briefing) and nothing is charged.
- This month (AUD): what's been used so far, as a bar against your limit.
- Monthly spending limit: type an amount in A$ and press Save limit. When it's reached, AI pauses for the rest of the month. Leave blank for no limit.
- Warn me at … % of the limit (80% by default).
- What used it this month and Recent months show where it went.
AI is billed monthly with your subscription, for what you use. Starter plans don't include AI features.

If something's not right
- "Limit reached — AI is paused": raise the limit, or wait until next month.
- "Not available on Starter": AI comes with Professional and above. See Billing & plan.
